Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Lighting & Sound Designer to join our team, responsible for designing and executing lighting and sound systems for live events, concerts, and performances. This role requires a deep understanding of both lighting and audio technology to create immersive, engaging experiences. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, programming, and operating lighting and sound equipment, as well as coordinating technical aspects to ensure flawless execution. Strong project management, technical knowledge, and collaboration with event teams are essential. Fluency in English is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lighting Design: Conceptualize and implement dynamic lighting setups for events, concerts, and performances, ensuring they enhance the overall atmosphere and experience.
2. Sound Design: Design and optimize sound systems, including microphones, speakers, mixers, and other equipment, to ensure high-quality audio for events.
3. Technical Integration: Work with both lighting and sound systems to ensure seamless integration, ensuring that both elements complement each other during live events.
4. Collaboration: Collaborate with event planners, producers, and technical teams to meet specific design goals, and align both sound and lighting with the overall vision of the event.
5. Project Management: Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for both sound and lighting setups, ensuring smooth execution from concept to the live event.
6. On-Site Execution: Lead the installation, setup, and real-time operation of both lighting and sound systems during rehearsals and live events, troubleshooting any technical issues as they arise.
7. Innovation & Sustainability: Stay updated with the latest sound and lighting technologies, incorporating innovative and sustainable solutions where possible.
8. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all equipment and installations comply with safety standards and industry regulations.

- Education: Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or a related field. - Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in lighting and sound design for live events or performances.
Skills:
- Proficiency in lighting design software (AutoCAD, DIALux, AGi32, etc.) - Expertise in sound design software (e.g., QLab, Soundcraft, Pro Tools, etc.) - Knowledge of audio systems, microphones, mixers, amplifiers, and lighting control consoles (e.g., grandMA, ETC, etc.) - Strong technical understanding of electrical systems, audio equipment, and safety regulations - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards for lighting and sound - Experience with large-scale live events, concerts, or theater productions - Knowledge of sustainable lighting and audio solutions is a plus
